happy halloween!

for halloween i thought i would share an image from one of my favorite comic writers/artists. this is from roman dirge, he writes the comic called lenore. he has written other things also, but his main story is lenore. the comic lenore got her name from my favorite story by edgar allan poe: the raven. i thought i would share an image he created for a tshirt that depicts lenore.

captain america movie

i know this is a day late, but the captain america movie is out in stores now! hurray! in some ways the movie follow the comics great, but in some ways it doesn't follow at all. but over all i like the movie. so if you haven't seen it yet, go out and rent it. i know netflix has it if you get dvd's mailed to you. so go watch it!

earth's mightest heros

so the avenger's movie that comes out next summer has an official trailer! i'm so excited! marvel has been doing a great job with all their movie makings of their comics (spiderman doesn't count - marvel didn't have any control) and this looks like it will continue with that. so here it is:

so there's a new shakespeare movie coming out. it's called anonymous. the trailor looks AMAZING! it looks like it follows the story that shakespeare was actually an english lord. it comes out october 28th, i can't wait!

ghostbusters #1

so my friend jimmy (who was my boss when i worked for the comic shop) has been animated and put on the cover of ghostbusters #1. totally awesome! it's the variant cover and everyone should go and buy it!
